Your pet as an Android live wallpaper

Many Android phones can use a video as a wallpaper. A seamless loop of your pet is ideal for it.

Samsung, Xiaomi, Redmi and other brands each name this option slightly differently, and some limit video wallpapers to the lock screen. A short, seamless loop works best because it repeats without a visible jump.

Prepare the video with our free video wallpaper maker.

How to do it

  1. Create your living portrait and download it.
  2. Long-press your home screen and open Wallpaper (the name varies by brand).
  3. If your phone offers "Video" or "Live" wallpaper, choose the video. If not, install a free video wallpaper app from the Play Store.
  4. Position your pet's face, then set it for the lock screen, home screen, or both.

Questions

My phone has no video wallpaper option. What can I do?

Use a free video wallpaper app from the Google Play Store.

Will it use a lot of battery?

A short loop uses a little more than a still wallpaper. Calm moods with gentle movement are a good balance.
