How to bring an old pet photo to life

Many of our favourite pet photos only exist as prints in an album. Here is how to get them ready for animation.

1. Get a good digital copy

2. Crop around your pet

Crop so your pet's head and shoulders fill a good part of the image, but leave some space around the ears. Remove album borders.

3. Fix only what's needed

A little brightness or contrast is fine. Avoid heavy filters or "beauty" effects, which can change your pet's face.

4. Choose a mood

For older, softer photos, Calm and Memorial usually look the most natural. Very energetic moods need sharper detail.

5. Generate

Upload the photo, pick the mood and generate. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

Try it with your own photo

Choose a photo, pick the Memorial mood you like, and sign in with Google. Your first 2 videos are free, with no card needed. Videos are ready in about 5 to 10 minutes.
